Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Automation Software Engineer located in Wuzhong.
Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Automation Software Engineer role involves...
What a typical day looks like:
- Software architecture & design
- GUI & HMI design and implementation
- API's & Integration with ERP, shop-floor management systems and machine controls (Labview, PLC's, Drivers, Robots controllers, Industrial communications protocols)
- Coordinate project activities with other associates, outside vendors/contractors and customers.
- Perform site surveys to identify and document existing customer equipment and processes.
- Collaboration with company IT (interfaces, security, company standards)
- Conduct and supervise integration and service by technicians and user engineers
- Automatic Data gathering, statistics, analytics and representation through reports & dash-boards
- Create and maintain related controlled documentation (logics & functional schematics, state machines, business scenarios, sequencing & timing diagrams, process flows, acceptance test procedures, technical/operational/maintenance manuals)
- Support system Commissioning, Qualification and de-bugging
- Manage the Software configuration control and release
- Bachelor's Degree, Automation engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
- Technical Savvy, system oriented, great attitude to machines, processes and controls.
- Passionate and creative, hands-on, love to code.
- Loves to work in a dynamic environment
- Well organized, pays attention to details, methodical
- Capable of analyzing, de-bugging and solving complex problems
- Quick learning, team player, working under pressure & multi-tasking.
- Great communicator - verbally and written
- Proficient in programming
- Good knowledge in electric standard parts brand, performance, character, parameters, etc
- Proficiency in engineering programs (Labview, PLC, Robot, NI-Vison, etc )
- Data gathering, Data analytics, reporting
- Good English skills in listen, read, write and oral is prior
