Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Accountant (m/f/d) - part time (20 hours weekly) in Stuttgart, Germany.

Reporting to the Site Controller, the Accountant (m/f/d) will be in charge of Accounting tasks and collaboration in Finance projects.

What a typical day looks like:

Accounts Payables
  • review, posting and archiving of inbound invoices
Fixed-Asset Accounting:
  • Support co-workers in preparing Capex requests
  • Preparation of Capex requests in the respective systems/tools
  • Supervision of fixed assets additions and disposals
  • Performing the monthly depreciation run
  • Reconciliation of fixed assets balances between local statutory GAAP and US GAAP
Accrual Accounting / other
  • Preparation and posting of monthly prepaid expenses
  • Preparation and posting of monthly accrual for outstanding invoices (GRNI)
  • Preparation of monthly IC charge
Additional Assignments:
  • Collaboration in other Finance projects
  • Further developing of existing processes as well as reporting and analysis methods
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Commercial training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or study in a relevant financial field with min. 1-3 years of experience, preferably in a multinational matrix organization;
  • Fluent German (C2) and fluent English (min. B2) both in written and spoken form;
  • Sound MS Excel knowledge and experience;
  • Good analytical skills, interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated and organized.
