Pay Range: $121,000 - $157,500 annually, based on experience
Full Range: $121,000 - $175,750 annually
Classification: Full-time, Exempt

Job Responsibilities:

Product Management

  • Build and maintain product strategies to include target client segments, market assessment and business/consumer insights, differentiated value proposition and corresponding business case including financial benefits and investments.
  • Work with project management to develop project plans and manage projects with aggressive time frames and assure that goals, budgets and deadlines are met.
  • Work with marketing to develop and manage the entire product lifecycle for how we define, deliver, and measure a successful experience for our clients.
  • Work with finance and related teams to develop and manage a competitive pricing model in line with market needs, operational costs, and other factors.
  • Work with sales and training teams to provide training on the value proposition, pricing, target audience and proven sales tactics for designated services.
  • Produce comprehensive product documentation to ensure efficient and effective cross team collaboration.
  • Articulate business logic to technical partners

Strategic Planning

  • Develop a forward-looking strategic growth plan for the next 3-5 years for assigned product set(s)
  • Evangelize your products and generate a consensus on the strategy from business partners across the enterprise.
  • Translate business goals into functional strategies and tactical actions.
  • Work closely with various business leaders and teams within the organization to advise them on how to establish and sustain business advantages in line with First Western’s larger vision and client experience standards.
  • Identify opportunities that arise from new technologies and innovative business models.

Problem Solving

  • Maintain and manage multiple and/or changing priorities quickly with flexibility, initiative, innovation and a team focus to drive success
  • Make sound data driven judgments drawing from both analytical data sources and qualitative data sources.
  • Use problem-solving skills that help identify, isolate and resolve problems and issues in a timely fashion to negate or minimize customer impact.
  • Develop solutions to new and complex issues.
  • Ability to synthesize information into actionable business insights.

Leadership

  • Ability to manage and mentor associate product managers
  • Serve as primary contact for assigned initiatives while influencing and leading cross functional teams and projects.
  • Develop close working relationships with other departments in the company as well as external vendors, market associations and centers of expertise.
  • Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company’s Intranet;
  • Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital;
  • Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement;
  • Complete all assigned training on time.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in operations, business, finance, marketing or related field - Required
  • Master's Degree business or related field preferred - Preferred
  • 7-10 years demonstrated product management and people management experience, defining strategies for well-known brands in consumer or business markets, or specifically within financial services. - Required
  • 5-7 years working knowledge of financial services sector and products – specifically checking and deposit services, online banking, treasury management, lending services and/or private banking brands and services - Preferred
  •  Experience developing growth strategies, product roadmaps, and client experience standards for banking services, luxury brands of other consumer products with known brands in the market.
  • Hands-on experience managing daily needs of client-facing products (within banking, or for known consumer brands where experience is transferrable), building short and long term strategy and tactics, creating and building internal support for product development roadmap, and evangelizing the role of product management
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities in efficient manner
  • Must be influential in building positive partnerships with cross functional teams
  • Strong change management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills at all levels within the organization
  • Must be detail oriented and able to effectively communicate summary information to various parties
  • Strong people management and mentoring skills
