Pay Range: $24.23 - $27.86 hourly, based on experience
Full Range: $24.23 - $31.50 hourly, based on experience
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of internal and external communications strategies, assets and metrics including key messages and talking points, content and thought leadership, client stories, newsletters, intranet content, and other messaging in support of strategic business and marketing objectives.
  • Support the development and delivery of Public Relations strategies, content, and metrics in support of strategic business and marketing objectives.
  • Support the effective development and delivery of communications plans and materials related to large-scale efforts, bank acquisitions, office openings/closures, and other projects which require communications expertise for winning results.
  • Strengthen and create team tools, processes, and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of our communications.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive editorial calendar and content strategy spanning all internal communications channels.
  • Track and report metrics, trends, and key insights on the team’s executed communications.
  • Work effectively as a writer and communicator who can work fast, is detail-oriented, and meets deadlines.
  • Knowledge and ability to manage content accurately across platforms for consistency.
  • Capability to understand our brand and voice, and to write skillfully and accurately (grammatically correct) to deliver our “story" coherently, cohesively, and concisely.
  • Basic graphic design and visual literacy (e.g., developing images for social media, an eye for detail and quality images, crafting great-looking visuals, etc.)
  • Experience with many of the following and a willingness to become familiar with the others: WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Zoom, HubSpot, Google or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Plan and execute projects from beginning-to-end with limited supervision (e.g., collateral development, Q&A forums)
  • Establish and maintain relationships across all levels of the company
  • Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company’s Intranet;
  • Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital;
  • Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement;
  • Complete all assigned training on time.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficiency in SharePoint or related technology
  • Highly organized, with a desire to help organize and manage communications processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development of communications, presentations, visual graphics, and other content
  • Strong desire to help make a difference and learn new skills
  • Ability to remain organized and focused while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibits a professional, confident, and outgoing demeanor
