- Responsibilities:
- This is both an office and field based role working closely with both existing and new customers supporting the implementation of FINASTRA software solutions (at this moment the work is fully remote). The Project Manager will be a member of the Projects team reporting into the Head of Projects.
- The role has responsibility to ensure project delivery work packages are delivered on time and to specification, within budget, while enforcing the company's project standards and methodology and minimizing exposure to risk.
- The role is responsible for managing the solutions integration and software implementation process through all phases of project delivery: requirements gathering, analysis, design, build/customization, system integration, user acceptance testing, production implementation, and transition to support.
- The role is client-facing and requires strong technical expertise, issue management and investigation capabilities, as well as excellent communication skills.
- Effective and accurate delivery of deployment and configuration activities for continued customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide regular reports on project delivery progress to the Head of Projects
- Managing issues and bridging knowledge of integration between Projects and Support teams.
- Handing over to Support team once live and in a stable state.
- Problem solving of technical issues during project.
- Recording and resolving internal defects and product related issues with product teams.
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation of procedures and system configuration.
- Attending meetings with stakeholders (clients and peers) on progress of project and reporting on open/outstanding issues.
- Consulting on implementation and test plans for upgrades / go-lives.
- Review existing on-boarding customer procedures and enhance where necessary to maintain effective service delivery.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, to perform other duties as assigned by the Projects heads from time to time.

Required Technical Expertise: Experience Required :5-9Yrs
- Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux
- Working knowledge of Windows Server
- Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Ingres, PostgreSQL
- Experience in API integration
Desirable:
- Experience of Shell / Batch scripting
- Working knowledge of JBoss and Tomcat
- Working knowledge of FTP / SFTP/ WebSphere MQ integration
