Responsibilities
Finastra's Corporate Legal team manages a diverse and international portfolio of work, including supporting our pioneering open platform that's changing how financial software is developed and used. Our work spans high-value software and services agreements with partners and vendors, through to data protection, litigation, procurement, intra-company agreements and other corporate matters across Finastra's subsidiaries worldwide.
You will be providing proactive advice to business stakeholders globally on a broad range of matters, as part of a lean and supportive team who will both value and challenge you.

- Software licensing
- IT Services agreements, including SAAS, PAAS, OEM, integration and other distribution, partner and subcontractor agreements
- Procurement contracts for a variety of high value goods and services
- Data privacy including assessment of novel issues as well as updating policies and procedures, and ensuring appropriate contractual provisions with vendors and partners
- Open-source software
- Trademarks
You will have the opportunity to develop specialism and responsibility for selected deliverables, with the expectation of a highly flexible, adaptable and positive attitude to support other matters as needed in order to balance workload across the team.
Skills and Competencies
- Qualified Lawyer / Jurist ; c 3+ years PQE
- Experience in the tech industry in an international company
- Strong communicator; excellent English as well as legal drafting, analysis and negotiation skills
- Collaborative team player; proactive and thrive on supporting a diverse range of matters
- Commercial awareness and ability to effectively prioritize and manage own workload
