Job Description:
The Role
The Vice President, FIA Product and Carrier Management leads a team with three primary business focuses:
- Leads all aspects of the development and ongoing support for FIA annuity, life, and hybrid long term care product solutions, including both proprietary and non-proprietary products. Assesses the landscape to align with customer needs in determining opportunities to grow and improve the suite of solutions offered. Provides full product management support, using internal and external opportunities to promote the products as key solutions available through Fidelity as part of an advisor led or digital experience.
- Leads the team who provides oversight and coordination of carrier partners on our Fidelity Insurance Network (FIN) platform.
- Partners closely with the Commercialization and Go to Market team to drive client awareness and engagement regarding FIA solutions using both internal and external strategies.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Leading a team across multiple sites (MA, RI, NH), drive the growth of each product line through the complete range of product oversight, development, management, and monitoring
- Understand demographic and product trends to assess new business opportunities in FIA products and develop cases for new features to better serve Fidelity's customers and drive sales in all channels.
- Drive and leverage thought leadership and collaborate closely with Sales Distribution as well as cross-Fidelity to position products in client planning interactions to help enable better client financial outcomes
- Oversee the relationships of our eight (8) key FIN partners. This includes regular and ongoing communication around key initiatives and opportunities, industry trends, as well as quarterly and annual partnership meetings
- As a securities' licensed Registered Principal, review and approve all customer-facing content.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with FIA business partners - Actuarial, Finance, Sales, Legal/Risk/Compliance, and Client Service/Operations
- Be an effective contributor and role model for teamwork across the Fidelity organization.
Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus
- 15+ years financial industry with demonstrated knowledge, and experience with, annuity and insurance products highly desired
- Consistent track record in financial services product management and carrier relationship management.
- FINRA series 7 and 24 or 6 and 26 license; or willing to obtain within 120 days of hire
- Strong knowledge of financial services, investing and retirement income planning
- Strong influencing skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills and presentation abilities
- Effective in a team-orientated environment
