The Role

Cash Solutions Cash and Money Movement (CMM) Product Area is seeking an accomplished product leader to advise and inform and guide strategic decision-making by leading the commercialization strategy for the Product Area. The Products are payment and banking capabilities to store, move, view and access your money simply, quickly, and securely.

As the Commercialization Team Leader, you will bring deep market and retail banking and payment industry knowledge to understand customer expectations, changes in markets and competitors. You will lead teams that understand the competitive landscape and current state in order to build a vision, develop strategic roadmaps aligned to capabilities to optimize and meet customer and market payments and banking needs. Fidelity offers a robust suite of retail banking products, including checking accounts, FDIC-insured deposits, Bill Pay, and ACH services for both deposits and direct debits. Looking ahead, we are growing our capabilities to include Real-Time Payments and Person-to-Person (P2P) Payments.

Along with your teams you proactively identify new customer opportunities and build cases to discern commercial viability. This will include working with Product Area Leaders on enabling CMM capabilities increase adoption, retain customers and grow Cash Management, 529, HSA and Custodial Accounts

You partner with strategy, delivery and other leaders to prioritize execution plans across multiple partners. In addition, you will:

  • Engage and influence clients and multiple partners
  • Partner with leaders in the building of business plans inclusive of revenue modeling, pricing, and expenses while setting priority, sequencing and phasing of deliverables, and the go-to-market strategy with key value propositions
  • Evaluate and optimize value based on overall Domain vision and priorities through continuous refinement
  • Demonstrate consulting capability to work closely across business units and leaders to effectively craft priorities
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the payment and banking market and the industry trends to understand customer expectations, changes in markets and competitors
  • Lead the visioning, development and iteration of payment and banking capabilities initiative roadmap for aligned product capabilities that meet customer & market needs
  • Build effective cases to discern commercial viability and optimization of resources
  • Develop strong execution plans reflecting multiple partner needs
  • Lead talent lifecycle of team including hiring, mentor, developing and performance management practices

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 15+ years of proven experience with product strategy and development and working with key partners enabling product development and delivery
  • Minimum 5 years
    • Developing digital banking and payments capabilities and working on to market Financial Services environment
    • Directly leading and developing teams with diverse capabilities and experience
  • Shown success
    • Applying modern product management and digital payment and banking transformation approaches to leadership of large and complex initiatives across organization
    • Analyzing data to make decisions about your approach, both in day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoffs
    • Driving initiatives across large, cross-functional teams, demonstrating end-to-end business thinking, planning, and decision-making to achieve clear and measurable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with developing digital banking and payments products including Bill Pay, Real-time Payments, Person to Person Payments and ACH deposits and direct debits
  • Skilled at strong interpersonal and influencing skills to navigate working with across leadership teams with contending priorities and key dependencies; Cross BU work experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven track record to foster recommendations and influence decisions at all levels of management
