UXD Wealth Chapter Leader: Cash Solutions
The Role
As Director, User Experience Chapter Lead you'll lead a team of UX designers supporting Cash Solutions team. You are passionate about our mission to reimagine how everyday Americans save and spend their money. As a Chapter Leader, you are dedicated to helping the team grow and develop in their knowledge area and ensure alignment on the 'how' of the work they perform. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role to empower others with that knowledge.

- Partner with product and business leads to identify and develop strategic design opportunities to drive outcomes.
- Ensuring experience decisions drive measurable business outcomes.
- Support the team in delivering value to the business and UXD team
- Coordinating and providing leadership for work across a team of designers.
- Aligning work of individual teams to broader customer journeys.
- Advocating for Systems Thinking and Human Centered Design.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of designers, with a focus on growth and development
- 10+ years of UX design experience, including skills in leading and coordinating the effort of a team of designers
- Experience identifying and acquiring talent needs, and resource planning across organizations; collaborating with senior level leaders toward successful business outcomes
- Record of success leading UX for product design MVP launches and continuing iterations
- Unwavering curiosity to ask why and dig deeper to understand the root causes of any ambiguous customer problem
- A strong presenter and communicator that can help craft a measurable product vision that gets results and connects opportunities to collaborate across business partners
- Familiarity with the value of design systems, understand reuse and scale, and know when to contribute to make them better; Leading the team through adoption of Fidelity Design System
- You have a solid set of product, visual, interaction, and service design skills, and can communicate the bigger picture through systems thinking, design visioning and journey mapping
- You may not consider yourself a data scientist or a researcher, but you don't shy away from understanding data and customer feedback to better inform your direction and coach the team through the value they are contributing to the firm
- Intellectual humility that allows you to see beyond cognitive biases and take in multiple perspectives
- You have foundation of technical development (software engineering) and architecture of digital products (native and web)

This role supports Fidelity Wealth, a group that helps a wide array of customers with services like brokerage, financial planning, and wealth management. This role also supports Fidelity's User Experience Design team, a group that delivers simple and accessible digital experiences to its customers.
