Specialist, Travel and Expense
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Travel and Expense (T&E) Specialist to join our team. The T&E Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and auditing associate travel and expense reports to ensure compliance with Fidelity policies and procedures, as well as supporting the administration of our corporate credit card program. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Review and audit associate expense reports for accuracy and compliance with Fidelity policies.
- Verify receipts and supporting documentation for all expenses claimed.
- Ensure that expenses are properly categorized and coded in the accounting system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, policy violations, or potentially fraudulent activities.
- Communicate effectively with associates to resolve any issues or discrepancies in their expense reports.
- Provide training and support to associates on the Fidelity's travel and expense policies and tools.
- Support administration of our corporate credit card program, working with associates and the card provider.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to travel and expense management.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or finance preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong focus on risk and the control environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with expense management software (e.g., Concur, Expensify).
- Knowledge of corporate travel policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to travel and expense management.
