Role

The Core Market Relationship Management Segment Head (SVP, Segment Head) has senior management accountability for a national book of business of Workplace Investing Core Market client relationships within the Concierge segment. The Concierge segment primary focus is creating a service experience that provides a higher touch model to our top Retirement Advisory firms within the Core Market. Primary responsibility is the effective leadership of approximately a team of 90+ Managing Directors ("MDs") and Team Leaders to ensure the satisfaction and retention of 4,100+ corporate client relationships with over $126B in assets under administration in partnership with our top Retirement Advisory firms.

Expertise and Skills you Bring

  • Accountable for the retention, advocacy, satisfaction, relationship growth for both the client and the advisor firms that are supported within the service model.
  • Responsible for developing and driving the overall business strategy for their team, client book of business and covered advisor firms that maximize business results and partnership opportunities - in strong collaboration with key service business partners - including WI Sales, WI Consultant Relations, and leaders across all key Fidelity business units.
  • Ability to lead in a high growth service environment with focus on the needs of those advisory firms that are serviced in the model.
  • Serve in a senior leadership capacity to our Concierge covered advisors - to help ensure alignment and an elevated connection point.
  • Represent the Sr. Core Market Leadership Team to identify and support strategic improvement initiatives as well as represent WDS RM in regional site leadership opportunities.
  • Provide focused leadership, motivation, and support for TL/MD team(s) to deliver consistently strong, balanced scorecard results in alignment with client objectives and Fidelity priorities.
  • Serve as Executive Sponsor for key client relationships including our largest clients, clients with significant service escalations and clients requiring up tiering relationships based on risk mitigation plans.
  • Support the team(s) to improve client service delivery and advance individual client action plans to meet key business strategies and overall business unit objectives.
  • Develop segment level (and Advisor level) strategy and goals that produce year-over-year improvements to service and associate experience.
  • Identify personal development objectives with each TL and support execution of plans to continually build proficiencies and skill sets to deliver outstanding business results.
  • College degree required
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Institutional client management and growth experience required.
  • Prior experience servicing or working with advisor and or 3rd party providers to help drive mutual positive business outcomes.
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience required.
  • Complete series 7, 24 & 63 exams within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior experience servicing or working with advisor and or 3rd party providers to help drive mutual positive business outcomes.
  • A Change Agent who can understand the current state, create a vision of the future state and through collaboration - build a well laid out plan that will inspire and move the organization forward.
  • Dynamic and inspiring leader with a proven record of developing a strong culture and focusing on the development of a tenured team of professionals.
  • Tried negotiation skills spanning sophisticated financial and service delivery related topics, both internal and client facing.
  • Ability to navigate and influence executive level business leaders, both internal and client facing across multiple functions and businesses.
  • Lead multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities, balancing the needs of the client and the organization.
  • Validated leadership, coaching, and career developments skills with a mix of tenured and new professional MDs.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
