Job Title - Software Engineer (cloud Engineer)
The Purpose of This Role
To contribute to a highly performance team to deliver efficient and innovative technology solutions to the Fidelity Wealth business.
This involves working closely with the global team and remaining in touch not only with the latest technologies but also with the business domain. This also involves constantly finding newer and better ways to achieve operational excellence.
your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain Risk Workstation application, while ensuring they are built with quality and adhering to the engineering practices, performance.
The Value You Deliver
- Coding as per the specifications for the Trading business
- Designing and implementing technology solutions for Risk monitoring Tools for various Fidelity businesses
- Working closely with our business partners to contribute to business-critical initiatives
- Demonstrate software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment
- Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/large cross functional teams as part of work delivery
- Follows practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase productivity
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
- Strong analytical and programming skills
- String knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL procedures
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java Spring boot
- String knowledge of Messaging services like Kafka
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, uDeploy
- Exposure to Agile Methodology with prior experience working in cross functional organization
- Exposure to Unix/Linux
- Should be good in Design and Analysis as the role requires to work on multiple initiatives
- Good communication skills
- Team player

The FBT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.

- BE / MTech / MCA
- 4+ years of IT experience as a developer
