The Role
Fidelity Brokerage, Data Aggregation and API team is looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager with technical integration experience in the open finance eco-system. We build innovative enterprise technology to source, aggregate, and enrich 3rd party and Fidelity record kept data and support consumer experiences for Fidelity customers. This role will work across the business unit, development and product teams to launch, support, and extend our application(s). Experience with successfully bringing applications and systems to market, directly creating, deploying, and delivering software is an important aspect of this role. This is a hands-on multi-faceted role.

You have the ability to go through systems and data mapping, lineage, databases, events, and API calls to understand the data transformations and its business use cases across consuming applications.
As a Sr. Technical Product Manager, you will leverage analytic and communication skills to identify requirements, create systems flow diagrams, as well as articulate the clearest paths to the onboarding of new data sources. These requirements will enable development teams to size and scope projects and plan for effectively delivery against commitments.
- Gather and document functional and system requirements including detailed use cases, context diagrams, business process flows, etc.
- Develop new workflows or modify existing workflows to meet business requirements
- Work with cross-functional teams developing business and systems requirements, user interface design, systems designs and systems interface specifications.
- Partner with our data governance and operations teams as well as our technical teams to ensure proper data flows and observability
- Partner with product area leaders in moving from business needs to detailed requirements reflecting an awareness of technical feasibility, trade-offs, and timeline
- Leverage expertise gained in Fidelity and external systems to suggest innovative solutions to deliver top user experiences at scale
- Understand and communicate the value of rich and accurate data sets for our clients in their financial journeys
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- 5+ years of strong technical systems analysis experience preferably in a financial services setting.
- Fluency in understanding data flows and technical architecture to support writing requirements
- Interest in how data can transform consumer experiences and bringing this interest to life in your work
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with defining requirements for software delivery
- 3 + years of experience working across stakeholders in a consultative manner to define solutions

The Team
The mission of the Data In team is to provide customers a holistic view of their financial position, and enable decision-making for maximizing their financial success. The team builds a financial data ingestion and enrichment platform that unifies the financial services ecosystem for Fidelity customers. This Data In platform aggregates third party and Fidelity financial account data, places it alongside Fidelity account activity, normalizes and enriches the combined datasets, and makes them available to upstream Fidelity experiences, apps, and derived insights teams via APIs and events.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
