Job Description:

This role provides you with the opportunity to join a SAAS/cloud-first, innovative, fast-paced technology team within Asset Management Technology, responsible for Business and System analysis of applications supporting the Hight income and Alternatives technology team. Your focus will be to continuously develop and enhance Relationship management functionalities in our CRM Salesforce platform, redefining Investment, servicing & client experience.

The Team

The High Income and Alternatives Technology team manages and develops technology platform that supports our high yield investment team with over $100B of client assets in US high yield debt, emerging market debt and a growing list of high yield alternative credit products.You will be part of a tremendously hardworking and diverse team responsible for building and maintaining multiple environments. You will be part of a team that has a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving, and experience with build and deployment software.This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to work across a culturally diverse team, providing release/production support on need basis. This is an exciting and challenging position for anyone who can think beyond the obvious. This role requires strong engineering background and mindset in building and implementing technology solutions.

The Skills/Expertise You Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Minimum 5 years Salesforce development experience is required.

• Web/application development experience with strong proven understanding of Java/Spring, Spring Boot

• Expert in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Python

• Knowledge of data movement design patterns and frameworks like Spring Batch a plus

• Well-grounded knowledge of engineering and CI/CD practices in a DevOps environment

• Experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), and Jenkins are a plus

• Experience with logging and tracing tools like Datadog

• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS platforms

• Experience with cloud data warehousing using Snowflake a strong plus

• AWS developer certification a strong plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

• Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment.

• Financial services industry experience preferred

Desired/Good to have Skills

• SQL programming experience: building queries and stored procedures/functions

• Web UI Development Experience with Angular 6 or newer

• Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, EKS

• Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake and Python scripting

• Prior background and experience with API design patterns

• Develop solutions to move data between Salesforce and Snowflake, to include configuring Salesforce profiles, creating Snowflake views, updating AWSBatch jobs and Snowflake Streams and Tasks to move data from Snowflake Stage to target.

• Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions for business problems

• Maintain and influence development standards and best practices

• Coach, mentor, and upskill other developers
