Job Description:

The Risk Assessment and Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) is seeking a hardworking and driven professional to join the team! You will help build an effective Sarbanes Oxley 404 program for emerging products at Fidelity. You will personify the Fidelity Leadership Principle of 'thinks and works across Fidelity'.

The Role

The CoE has set standards for performing risk assessments & controls testing and assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, compliance, and governance processes. This position within the CoE team is accountable for overseeing and driving all aspects of the timely execution of high-quality Sarbanes Oxley 404 program including risk assessments, control attestation, control testing, identifying and mitigating key risks, establishing relationships with senior business leaders, external audit, reporting key performance indicators, playing a key role in team initiatives, and coaching team members.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA is a plus.
  • Prior experience in establishing and driving Sarbanes Oxley 404 program, financial reporting, internal control over financial reporting, financial risk and operational risk.
  • Strong technical accounting and regulatory knowledge
  • Prior experience and knowledge of funds including key elements of Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance programs.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of investment management practices and strategies, particularly within the alternative and digital assets space a plus.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams
  • Leader with ability to navigate and influence across the organization
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills evidencing the ability to think and act strategically
  • Shown success in collaborative leadership and working with executive leaders and internal business partners
  • Thrives in a multifaceted organization where priorities shift to respond to business needs
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Word as well as industry research tools
  • You are decisive and take action to seek solutions

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
