The Role

Do you want to make a difference and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team where your contributions are valued and integral to the success of delivering technology enhancements for the Alternative Investments product in the Investment Product Platform domain area of the Fidelity Institutional (FI) business unit?

In this role, you will be a key player in our success, partnering with a squad leader to deliver new and evolving products and services.

We are looking for a Principal Product Business Analyst who will blend deep knowledge of product management, business analysis, and technical skills to drive business technology deliverables within the Product Development Life Cycle. The ideal candidate has a passion for empathizing with customers, defining the problem statement, generating solution ideas, collaborating, and seeing products come to life! This role also offers ample opportunities for growth and learning in the dynamic field of product delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategy: Understanding the problem or the 'why' and aligning it to the product strategy.

Execution: This is where and how the work gets done.

Business Readiness: How do you drive your product to launch and support after launch.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience required; MBA preferred.

• 5+ years of experience working with customer service, product management, and tech development. Must possess business analytical skills and a technical capacity.

• Bring a voice of influence to your squad and interdependent teams by embracing the shared vision and fostering collaboration. Drive towards the business goal with effective communication and navigate through complex scenarios.

• Proven experience at all stages of the Product Delivery Lifecycle, focusing on driving change in how we do business to bring a product from strategy to the marketplace.

• Ability to focus on and understand the end-to-end customer experience and identify pain points while working across stakeholders to communicate to the agile team with epics and stories.

• Demonstrate a growth mindset to advance skills and approach the work with a constant learning curiosity to keep your team current on skills.

We are Product Leaders who help define organizational needs, engage stakeholders, and deliver optimal client experiences by detailing the 'ask' while educating on the options and capabilities offered. We also drive an executable strategy and ensure scalable and supportable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Product Solutions chapter area and work on solutions to drive FI business forward. At Fidelity, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we are calling "Dynamic Working."
