The Role

The Workplace Investment Stability Automation & Engineering COE (Quality Engineering COE) is looking for Senior AI/ML Engineer with strong data background with "Automate Everything" mindset to assist AIOps program and in provisioning data using tools/techniques to various WI Agile Squads. In this hands-on role, you will combine your AI/ML development skills with enterprise tooling from Fidelity to help create a developer-friendly DevOps ecosystem and lead the organization through its next generation DevOps Journey. This position involves building and committing to the tools that support AI solutions. Daily activities would include helping teams build AIOps pipelines, support automation, design and analysis as well as working closely with the architecture, engineering, and technology teams.

• The WI SAE COE is seeking a Senior AI/ML engineer with experience in AI/ML, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Search, virtual assistants/chatbots, large language models (LLMs), Agents/ Agentic flows, deep learning related technologies, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Bring Stability and Efficiencies to WI Squads and Operations to accelerate software development life cycle.
• An automation mentality to drive platform stability approaches.
• Streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, and introducing new features with positive business impacts.
• Bring together technical, procedural, and financial data to reduce toil and increase efficiency.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Data Science, AI or related field
• 6-9 years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
• Programming skills in Python, SQL, and hands-on experience using cloud technology platforms like AWS, Azure will be a plus
• Exposure to AI-centric tools like CrewAI, LangChain, LangGraph (or other Agentic AI framework) is required.
• Strong understanding of statistics, data modeling, and algorithmic design is important.
• Develop and maintain AI/ML pipelines using AWS Bedrock/AWS Sagemaker and Jenkins Pipeline/ CICD Pipelines
• Work with large datasets using SQL, Python Fast APIs, and Snowflake & Vector Stores
• Hands-on experience with RAG implementation using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering for Designing LLM/GenAI workflows and implementation.
• Containerizing and deployment into cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, feature engineering, and model scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest AI research and integrate relevant advancements into projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into AI/ML use cases and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, analysts, and software engineers.
• Present insights and model outcomes to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Contribute to the development of AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Ensure ethical AI practices and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
