The Role

As Engagement Lead - Fidelity Human Capital, you lead the day-to-day management of human capital consulting projects across Fidelity's Business units. Our projects aim to solve Fidelity's most critical human capital focused business issues, and your role is highly valued by Fidelity business leaders to drive critical thinking forward. The project management and business partner relationship support that you provide to the team and our internal clients helps craft the future of Fidelity's businesses. Your role is to help scope the project, lead and manage workstreams, develop your team, and partner with senior Fidelity business leaders to drive successful outcomes.

The Expertise and Skills you Bring

  • You must demonstrate practical subject matter expertise in Human Resources with direct experience in the financial services industry (e.g., workplace, brokerage, wealth management, investments).


  • You have 7-10 years of work experience.


  • The position requires consulting experience with multiple years in the project manager role and experience counseling clients/partners, preferably with a top tier consulting firm.


  • You must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.


  • You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.


  • Experience with project and team management, specifically including organization strategy and design, role design, workforce planning, resource optimization


  • Ability to synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including organization diagnostic and design, resource optimization, financial impact analysis, operational analysis and primary/secondary research


  • Capable of influencing middle to senior management through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations


  • Ability to assess risk and operationalize findings - turning research into actions


  • Proficient in quantifying challenges and requirements related to execution


  • Driver of decisions in complex environments with multiple partners


  • Skilled in building relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacities


  • A desire to develop and mentor people
