Job Description:

The Role

We build incredible benefits solutions in Workplace Investing and a big player in bringing them to millions of people is our Marketing teams. We invest heavily in building automations, simplifying processes, and crafting data-driven products to power this absolute juggernaut of a team. We have multiple product teams building on the Salesforce and other platform to drive efficiencies, improve prospect engagement and streamline access to data. We are looking for an architect who will partner to help our Martech teams in building the right tools for Marketers and enable adoption of 3rd party tools that streamline their day-to-day workflows while aligning with architecture standards and blueprint. You will provide leadership through structured discovery and problem analysis, data-driven decision making, adoption of standards, collaboration with key partners and evaluations and recommendations of solutions.

The Expertise You Have

  • Proven experience in partnering with business leaders to shape product strategy, roadmap, and implementation approaches.
  • Proven track record to analyze business direction and problems, understand long term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions.
  • Proven track record in producing technical architecture and related artifacts as well as building consensus with peer architects and technology partners to support implementation.
  • Proven track record in delivering integration architectures which connect multiple systems to deliver business outcomes, especially with SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborating with peer & enterprise architects to align on standards, strategy, and opportunities to refactor business processes, improve customer experience or perform capability rationalization.
  • Ability to work both independently and with different levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members.
  • Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud/ Experience Cloud experience is a plus.

The Skills You Bring

  • Comfortable partnering with product partners to formulate strategies and roadmap.
  • Strong presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills for working with less-technical business partners, senior leaders as well as technologists in IT leadership and implementation teams.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and solutions to agile teams.
  • Experience in networking across business units and outside the companies to optimize new reusable processes, patterns, and practices with extraordinary results.
  • Willingness to experiment, innovate and seek resources to learn, grow and find solutions.
  • Financial industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Marketing enablement and working with Martech stacks is a plus.
  • Experience in partnering with 3rd party vendors + SaaS providers is a plus.

From planning and road-mapping to delivery and execution, this opportunity will give the architect exposure to the full lifecycle of our client experiences. You will closely work with the product leadership team and technical teams to provide technical leadership and architecture direction for this valued product area.

As part of the WI Technology Architecture team, you will enable this business transformation by providing strategic direction, transitional and future state architecture and inform the right set of technologies. You will work closely with business partners and technology teams to understand business objectives and help define appropriate architecture direction for them. By working closely with Solution Architects and Agile teams, you will assess and ensure how proposed solutions to specific initiatives align with broader WI goals and strategies.
