Director, Market & Competitive Intelligence

Boston, MA

Job Description:

The Role

The Director, Market & Competitive Intelligence will play a key role partnering with stakeholders across Fidelity Institutional (FI) to bring the outside-in perspectives around how external market trends are impacting our business. The Director will blend analytical problem solving with strategic thinking to develop insights which help shape priorities, stay ahead of the competition, and drive commercial outcomes.

Your primary area of focus in this role will be the institutional distribution market (e.g., defined benefit, endowments & foundations, defined contribution, etc.), with secondary focus on the intermediary (i.e.., financial advisor) market. You will use a range of data and other sources to proactively build forward-looking insights which help FI meet the changing needs of our clients in this space and execute on our strategic priorities. This includes monitoring investor demand trends, assessing evolving client needs, understanding competitors, and identify areas of opportunity or risk to our business.
