Job Description:

You blend critical thinking with advocacy and alignment to support the ongoing management of and strategy for the Workplace Managed Accounts Product Area. As a member of the Workplace Managed Accounts strategy team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of product area priorities
  • Supporting planning efforts and executive updates
  • Leading key governance activities both within and outside of the product area, including collaboration with leaders across the product area and key business partners.
  • You will work across product area and alongside our partners to evaluate and influence strategic decisions, roadmaps and execute on the top growth opportunities.

The Team

As part of the Workplace Managed Account (WMA) Product Area, the strategy team, is responsible for guiding longer-term business and product strategy as well as managing planning and governance processes. We place a strong emphasis on outside-in thinking by interpreting market signals and understanding client and customer needs, while also ideating and incubating new opportunities. We also play point with Workplace Strategy & Planning to manage the WMA portfolio multi-year planning processes and executive insights.

The Value You Deliver

  • Work with Product Area and Group Squad leadership to facilitate development and prioritization of roadmap grounded in our objectives and assessment of opportunities
  • Build credibility and trust with a diverse set of leaders in and out of the product area to influence and align around shared goals and visions
  • Develop executive level communications for internal and external discussions
  • Participate in and facilitate regular strategic planning discussions
  • Own Product Area planning routines and roadmaps, maintaining alignment and transparency across the leadership team and soliciting feedback from appropriate teams
  • Build and leverage knowledge about our tools, systems, and processes and utilize these learnings to streamline processes and drive best practices
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to bring an outside-in perspective to help identify value to customer and inform opportunities
  • Collaborate with partners to develop growth opportunities that meet client and customer needs

The Expertise You Have

  • Experience in management consulting / strategy is strongly preferred, and previous experience in project management is a plus
  • Financial services experience preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's or equivalent with 10+ years of experience, Master's preferred

  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and with multiple groups
  • Strong project management and attention to detail to ensure the Product Area processes are complete, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Proactive and action-oriented; willing to take the initiative and bring others along instead of waiting for permission
  • Strategic thinking and ability to analyze and synthesize a variety of inputs to drive to a recommendation
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and skills to navigate a demanding environment and influence partners with a wide range of priorities and perspectives
  • Work with Product Area leadership to manage agendas for key routines, including Extended Staff meetings, Offsites, and All Associates meetings
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and responding to urgent requests that may arise
  • Excellent consultative, listening, communication, and analytical skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong team collaboration with the ability to navigate differences in opinion with grace and utilize constructive feedback as data for the next iteration
