The Role

The candidate would be a leader within an evolving team which is reinventing core brokerage processes and technologies to meet changing customer and industry needs. The right individual will provide extensive support and guidance to our Green Pier Fintech LLC (GP) institutional clients (Broker Dealers and RIAs) across all onboarding, conversion and bulk asset transfer events. As a director, you will engage with our internal business partners, technology teams and clients to ensure we meet and or exceed expectations related to the coordination, transition, and reconciliation of assets onto or away from the Green Pier platform. You will provide analytical insight and troubleshoot complex issues and problems. The Director will lead and support multiple initiatives at the same time and integrate them into a comprehensive plan, while meeting business priorities and adjust work effort accordingly. Our objective is to provide the underlying client with a smooth and flawless transition.

The areas in focus for this role are to be a key contributor to the conversion or integration of new clients to the Green Pier Fintech LLC platform throughout the lifecycle of client onboarding from:

  • Developing discovery questionnaires and client information gathering to provide to GP's Business Acceptance Committee
  • Refining documentation and processes for retention for GP's onboarding and conversion plans
  • Performing detailed analysis of the client's current business structure and coordinating business/operational onboarding and configuration tasks
  • Leading conversion data mapping exercises and driving conversion data testing and validation activities
  • Alignment of internal business partners to ensure completion of all critical tasks for a timely transition
  • Management of client expectations

The Expertise You Bring

  • Strong subject matter expertise relative to the products, client types, and processes listed above
  • Analytical, organized, and have strong multi-tasking skills
  • 8+ years of experience within relevant business areas
  • Facility with key compliance rules and requirements for these areas
  • Knowledge of general brokerage operations and processes
  • Strong process improvement orientation and ability to spot weaknesses in process performance and compliance
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a willingness to make the extra effort to resolve issues
  • Experience with DTCC and OCC integration and day-to-day operations
  • Expertly lead by influence and use persuasive communication and social skills to engage with clients, contra firms and internal business partners.
  • Team building and mentorship skills
  • Series 7 or 99 licensing is required.

Green Pier Fintech LLC is a division of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT).
