Specialist, Ocean & Air Operations (Doha,Qatar)

· Oversee Pricing desk and Gateway arrangement • Develop relevant reports and measurements relating to operations processes. • Maintain and develop contacts with customers, carriers and other service providers in achieving a consistent and reliable service level. • Ensure cost effectiveness of operations through established control of equipment, utilities and supplies. • Provide direction & support for resolution of complex customer issues, establish & execute service contracts, review customers’ feedback & initiate improvement measures. • Formulate, implement & review contingency plans to support overall operations & individual areas of operations. • Plans loading of consolidation in an optimized manner; • Responsible for the handling of contracted suppliers regarding rates justification and service quality; • Instructs and trains operation staff with / on methods to instill a service-conscious attitude, and minimize service failures; • Communicates with customer service team / airlines / overseas offices (internal and external) with regard to service improvement and exceptions handling; • Oversees movement and activities of all related products to ensure maximum efficiency; • Assists in new operations development and project implementation; • Other duties as assigned to the position.
