We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated SF Risk - Loan Quality Credit Compliance Associate to join our Loan Quality Credit Compliance team. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the integrity and quality of our loan portfolio.

As a valued member of our team, you will:

• Assist in reviewing loans for credit, collateral, and data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with internal underwriting standards and eligibility requirements.
• Identify and report on loan quality issues, including potential fraud or misrepresentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve loan defects and support repurchase investigations.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.

Please note this is a 5 days per week in office role based out of Plano, TX.

Minimum Requirements & Skills

• 0-1 year of relevant experience in finance, compliance, or risk

Desired Experiences & Skills

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years underwriting experience including recent experience in either origination or audit underwriting function
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to review loans for eligibility, misrepresentation and risk
• Experience analyzing and reporting quality issues on a loan-level basis
• Stay abreast and well versed on all Fannie Mae Selling Guide/Product Changes (e.g. Announcements, Lender Letters, Publications, etc.)
• Familiarity with Closing Disclosures and Fannie Mae eligibility requirements
• Ability to create written summary on analysis of loan review
• Maintain an acceptable response time as required by the department
• Maintain acceptable accuracy rates as required by the department
• Meet or exceed production and quality requirements
• May perform moderately complex projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects

Target Pay Range: 94,000.00 - 122,000.00

The hiring range for this role is set forth below.
