Job Description
- Advise team and management on process improvements and opportunities for automation.
- Apply extensive knowledge of DevOps engineering principles and advanced techniques to manage the timely resolution of DevOps related projects.
- Work with technical teams implementing DevOps solutions to accelerate software delivery.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across the release lifecycle to obtain input and support for planned DevOps engineering activities.
- Participate in cross-departmental process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Improve agility through various delivery and implementation methodologies.
- Deploy large scale Enterprise applications using container and cloud technology.
- Integrate test cases into CICD pipelines using Selenium or similar tools.
- Use experience in software development and DevOps engineering to automate cloud-native technologies, deploying applications and provisioning infrastructure.
- Use experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform or similar tools to contribute to the DevOps transformation
- Mentor less experienced technical staff.

REQUIREMENTS:
Master's in Computer Science or Information Technology Management plus three years of experience in dev ops engineering working in the financial services industry, using AWS (including CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, StepFunctions, RDS, RedShift, Sagemaker, SNS, SQS, S3, CloudWatch) Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gradle, Apache Maven, Nexus, Flyway, Python, Ruby, Groovy, Selenium, Application Security tools DAST/SAST/SCA, and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication (oral and written) skills are also required.
