The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - To be successful as a Lead QA Engineer, you should have experience in Web Application testing API testing and mobile application testing. Brief understanding of testing approaches. Good communication skills and must be a team player.

• Provide functional workflows, test data, and support Manual / Automation / Performance testing.
• Effectively collaborate and communicate and build rapport with team members, project stakeholders, business partners and vendors.
• Promoting QA standards and best practices across Agile teams.
• Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes.
• Familiarity with systems scope and project objectives, the role and function of the various members of the team.
• Creating, and reviewing STP, ITP, UAT test plan and test cases.
• Should be able to manage and coach juniors.

• 8+ years of working experience in Manual Testing.
• Must have good experience in Web Application testing, API testing and mobile application (iOS & Android) testing.
• Exposure in working in Agile Projects.
• Working experience in Jira, Postman, Swagger etc.
• Well versed with API Testing and holds familiarity with JSON and XML.
• Ability to analyze requirements, develop a test plan, create, and execute test cases, track defects, and report results.
• Designing & Implementing Test Strategy.
• Creating Test Plan and getting approvals.
• Organizing and monitoring defect management process.
• Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing.
• Good to have Desktop Application testing.
• Good to have knowledge of Database testing.
• Good to have knowledge of Automation testing and exposure to Tools like Selenium, JMeter etc.
• Good to have TDD/BDD, Cinnamon/Cucumber frameworks.
• Good to have knowledge of object-oriented programming languages: Java.

• Ability to work in an independent environment with moderate supervision.
• Ability to work at a moderate noise level (i.e. working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers).
• Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
