Engineering Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the research and development sector, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to work with technical documentation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Round Lake, IL

What's the Job?

• Perform a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments.
• Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and manage inventory levels for laboratory supplies.
• Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols.
• Conduct troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.

What's Needed?

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
• Basic science and/or math skills.
• Team orientation with a mechanical or electrical background preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues.
