We’re seeking a highly motivated Senior System Administrator to join our global IT team. This role requires independent work, cross-time-zone collaboration, and a proactive mindset to support and improve Exadel’s IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and core networking concepts
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes architecture and automated deployments
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools
  • Expertise in Git for version control in collaborative, distributed teams
  • Skills in troubleshooting and incident resolution using metrics, logs, and system tools
  • Experience debugging production systems with secure permission structures across containers, networks, and OS layers
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies independently
  • Strong communication skills with precision in documentation and stakeholder engagement
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to reliability, security, and performance

  • Configuration management experience using Ansible
  • Familiarity with ELK/OpenSearch stacks; creating dashboards and alerts in Kibana or Grafana
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles
  • Experience with secret management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
  • Basic AI skills for automation tasks, test case generation, or information retrieval from public sources

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the availability, performance, reliability, and security of critical IT systems
  • Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues across multiple time zones
  • Keep IT documentation (Wiki, CMDB) accurate and up to date
  • Train support staff on routine operations and best practices
  • Automate recurring tasks and contribute to process optimization
  • Provide security expertise within your domain and support incident response and investigations
  • Analyze and report on data from logs, monitoring tools, CMDB, and asset management systems
