Job Description

Equinox is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with business leaders to evaluate and drive financial performance as well as assisting with strategic projects to support various initiatives.


The ideal candidate will have strong financial and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. The FP&A team works cross functionally to support all aspects of the organization - this individual should be a self-starter who is eager to roll up their sleeves, dive into details and drive decision making through financial analysis. This role reports into our Senior Director of Finance and sits at our headquarters in Hudson Yards. If interested and qualified, please apply directly to the role online.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and constantly improve the Company’s long-range financial plan (LRP), including business unit level and consolidated Company wide projections, providing regular analysis and reporting on all three financial statements
  • Drive best practices as it pertains to forecasting, analyzing actual financial performance vs plan on a monthly and ad hoc basis and identifying key trends
  • Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner, working closely with business leaders and P&L owners to analyze detailed drivers of the business to inform forecasting
  • Support the quarterly re-forecasting and annual budgeting processes, providing financial support on revenue and expense planning
  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses and modeling as needed, including unit level return on invested capital (ROIC) among others
  • Support the preparation of board and investor materials
  • Review existing processes and systems to assist in the identification of improvement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting a must
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate finance, FP&A or related field
  • Mastery of Excel; must possess the ability to build and update complex and dynamic financial models
  • Proven analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills with the ability to conduct detailed analyses, tell the story through data, and effectively summarize actionable recommendations
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to proactively manage multiple concurrent workstreams and responsibilities
  • Results oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with OneStream or similar BI+ tool a plus
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles

Pay Transparency:Min $100K - Max $105K
