Job Description

The Facilities Operations Specialist will be based in NYC and help ensure that our studio locations consistently represent our brand through the most efficient use of resources. Assists the Senior Manager of Facilities with the coordination and day-to-day planning of repairs, maintenance, renovations, and ongoing operations of all company facilities, equipment, and building systems. In this role, the coordinator will ensure all work is routed correctly and completed promptly.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Senior Manager of Facilities as requested and or directed
• Ensure the condition of our studios is a cornerstone of our success and rider experience by closely representing the SoulCycle brand
• Acts as a first point of contact for repair & maintenance requests
• Ensures proper routing of all Tier 1 support tickets
• Conducts routine, detailed on-site walkthroughs of assigned locations to ensure the studio meets company and departmental standards as well as all safety guidelines
• Communicate with field management daily to obtain input and recommendations to meet and exceed operational standards
• Routinely prepare and update work orders via the ServiceChannel platform
• Coordinate and manage emergency, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, glass & carpentry in addition to any other needed facility-related items
• Assists supervisor with planning of repairs, maintenance, and capital improvement budgets for assigned locations
• Oversees routine maintenance compliance for all locations
• Ensure invoices are received and processed promptly
• Works alongside accounting shared services to onboard vendors and track payment processing
• Acts as a first point of contact with Accounting
• Available to supervise work during nights and weekends as needed, requested, or required
• On-call 24/7 for the support and coordination of any emergency repair
• Expected to operate with a sense of urgency

Qualifications

• Background in high-end retail facilities management is a plus
• Experience with ServiceChannel is a plus
• 1-2+ years of experience in a relevant industry is required
• Troubleshooting skills required; must be able to identify a problem and work towards solutions
• Must excel at customer service; ensuring timely proactive communication to relevant parties
• A self-motivated, proactive thinker with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
• Ability to assist in managing facilities of multiple, geographically diverse studios
• Thrive under pressure and short deadlines; must demonstrate a sharp eye for detail and an ability to solve complex problems under high-pressure circumstances
• Exhibits willingness and ability to learn, adapt, and improve the Company
• Able to travel to studio locations as required to ensure successful facilities management

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Facilities

Pay Transparency: Min $65K - Max $75K
