Technical Deployment Senior Analyst

Job Summary

The Technical Deployment Senior Analyst plans, develops, oversees and delivers complex customer data center implementations.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Support

  • Supports data center deployment projects by validating customers' order requirements with the customer processing team and other stakeholders
  • Project manages the technical deployment responsibilities with the data center manager
  • Has seasoned professional experience and knowledge of data centers; proposes alternate solutions to address internal issues
  • Provides solutions cross-functionally to resolve customers' non-standard order requirements
  • Facilitates smooth service delivery and ensures provisioned services meet and exceed customers' expectations
  • Supports reinstall projects where required

Project Planning

  • Responsible for ensuring tickets are set with appropriate commit dates
  • Works on problems of diverse scope to ensure work is completed on time and according to quality standards. Escalates issues when necessary

Implementation and Delivery

  • Plans, develops and delivers increasingly usual and more specialized customer implementations. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem solving techniques to identify cause
  • Leads the planning and communication of project implementation
  • Manages, monitors and executes planned activities of internal team and cross-functional groups in the company's business systems tools to ensure project milestones and commitments are met
  • Facilitates implementation meetings with cross-functional groups

Cross Functional, Support & Communications

  • Offers solutions and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues during project implementation
  • Maintains regular communication with functional and cross-functional teams throughout the implementation
  • Handles the escalations, investigates and provides resolution to the issues independently and seeks Manager's assistance on complex issues
  • Communicates with cross-functional groups on project plans and implementation progress for a specialized project

Process Support/Optimization

  • Participates with cross-functional teams to review business and/or technical processes within the data center; refines or makes suggestions for continuous improvements and supports implementation of specialized solutions.
  • • May lead process solutions

Systems Support

  • Identifies unusual system or process issues (e.g. business system bugs on functionalities, training gaps)
  • Assesses a wide range of system issues and suggests variations while working with data center operations team members to meet solutions in creative ways

Data Support/Analysis

  • Collaborates within the Technical Deployment Team and Data Center Operations Team(s) to assess validity and integrity of data being used
  • Analyzes physical audit issues and recommends corrective actions and resolutions

Vendor support

  • Responsible for project management of supplemental vendor support for EIS and operations, as it relates to the assigned deployment

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure including facilities and operations
  • Project Management skills, including large scale customer implementations
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to present to key stakeholders
  • Ability to Analyze metrics to identify Data Center Operations system and process issues, proposes solutions and works with Regional Operations for implementation of solutions
  • Ability to identify implementation risks, analyze solutions and execute with a high sense of urgency

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $82,000 to $130,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
