In this role, you will lead a large organization of engineers to architect, build, deploy, and operate mission-critical services, requiring 99.999% uptime and the highest levels of performance. This leader will be responsible for Identity & Access Management systems, Billing/Quote-to-Cash systems, API gateways, as well as other shared services on which internal and external customers rely every minute of every day. The ideal candidate will have built and operated SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS systems at web scale, with proven techniques and demonstrable results.

  • Build highly resilient (99.999% uptime) architectures while mitigating dependencies outside of your direct control (network, DNS, 3rd party vendors, etc.)
  • Develop mature DevOps/operational practices, including instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting of systems, services, and applications
  • Dig into the details and intimately know your systems, processes, and products, guiding the teams to build scalable systems
  • Build a highly functional team environment with a foundation of trust
  • Proven and demonstrable experience building highly available, highly performant SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products

Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading engineering managers with responsibility for multiple products & services
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar engineering degree, or demonstrable equivalent experience preferred
