Job Summary: Join Equinix as a Senior Account Executive, where you will drive sales of our innovative solutions to mid-market new accounts and expand existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts.
    • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Collaborative Sales Leadership:

    • Lead a coordinated sales approach with internal teams and external partners.
    • Utilize strategic alliances to penetrate accounts effectively.
  • Account Planning & Strategy:

    • Research and document customer business landscapes.
    • Develop and execute account plans to maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Solution Selling:

    • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored Equinix solutions.
    • Deliver compelling sales pitches, adapting to customer personas.
  • Contract Management:

    • Address high churn risk and facilitate contract renewals to protect revenue.
    • Understand and manage customer contractual obligations.
  • Pipeline & Territory Management:

    • Monitor opportunities in SFDC and forecast sales accurately.
    • Prioritize accounts for short and long-term sales objectives.
  • Prospecting &action:

    • Collaborate with the Opportunity Development Team to qualify leads.
    • Lead negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Provide guidance and expertise to junior team members.
    • Assist in onboarding and training new hires.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
