Sales Transaction Coordinator

Job Summary

The Terminations Transaction Coordinator is part of the Sales Transactions Support within the Revenue Operations Organization. Equinix strives to uphold customer satisfaction from ordering to termination. Even when the customer is leaving Equinix, we ensure our customers are handled professionally and hassle-free. At the same time, the team holds a critical position in validating the contracts to be terminated, communicating with customers, and supporting adequate forecasting for internal teams. Main responsibilities include reviewing and providing advice on contractual related, creating termination quotes for the customer, and prompt processing of necessary termination actions. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer or sales support, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Create Termination quotes for customers and ensure prompt processing of necessary actions
  • Research customer agreements, terms, and any specifics affecting the termination process
  • Review and provide advice on contractual related. Ensuring ETF (early termination fee) is properly calculated per customer's contract
  • Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams to efficiently process terminations and provide updates to customers
  • Secures all necessary approvals for termination requests, including interaction with other departments within the organization
  • Handle termination queries from other departments and keep track of the impact on the termination process
  • Keep all impacted teams informed and provide visibility of the termination process
  • Provide 1st level support to Sales Representatives and customers on termination inquiries
  • Monitor/manage system requests related to termination and provide suggestions on process improvements or system enhancement
  • Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams for the efficient processing of terminations including updates to customers on the status of their request

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with sales operations support and customer interaction, 1-2 years of experience
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
  • Self-motivated team player able to work independently, set priorities, create plans, solve roadblocks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player with attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Expertise in MS Office is essential (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Siebel and Salesforce.com knowledge/experience is a plus
  • Good command of the English language (Written and Oral)
