Job Summary

Equinix is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Associate to join our Commercial Opportunity Management department in Warsaw offices, Poland.
Being part of the EMEA Commercial Opportunity Management Organization, our mission is to be the single point of contact for pre-sales related requests and issues. In your role as COM, Senior Associate, you will act as a project coordinator for pre-sales activities in the Strategic Accounts and dedicated support environment. As a team, we are responsible for tracking and coordinating progress on all opportunity-related requests, such as legal agreements, quotes, and customer signatures.

As our COM, Senior Associate, you play a key role in handling pre-sales activities and work cross-functionally to solve issues related to quotes, orders, and contractual paperworks. You are the pre-sales operations contact who coordinates tasks seamlessly behind the scenes. You are handling multiple deals across the EMEA region ensuring they conform to Equinix standards, making sure the scope and direction of each is on schedule.

This role will have a particular focus on supporting complex and strategic accounts with global footprints and specific contractual protocols . You will help facilitate large and complex deals and coordinate high-volume transactions such as renewals, amendments, and terminations across multiple countries and business units. Your ability to navigate global stakeholders and ensure operational alignment across regions will be critical to success.

What is the role about?

  • Support pre-sales operational activities for complex customer accounts & priority partners
  • Monitor and update inbound queries through individual and team case queues according to our SLOs
  • Generate quotes related to new orders, amendments & renewals. Run quote revisions, approvals, pricing ramps & pricing agreements
  • Coordinate global/regional strategic opportunities, or multi-country/multi-region deals
  • Support Customers, Partners & Sales representatives with creating, tracking status, and garnering approvals for quotes. You also support system functionality issues, quote complexity, knowledge/training, and high volume of quotes
  • Validate quoting info provided by customers/Sales representatives & collaborate with our Sales Engineers & Capacity teams to ensure feasibility. Follow up directly with Sales reps on any clarifications or additional info required to accurately generate quotes
  • Work with the sales executives to ensure pricing agreements are in place and accurate reflecting agreed contractual terms
  • Provide live sales support for pre-sales system-related questions and be the subject matter expert for any system or process improvements (e.g., ECO or Lead to Cash enhancements)
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of departments & stakeholders within Equinix and function well within a team
  • Follow up on Quarter-End urgent related queries

Who are you?

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Global Tech, Telecom, SaaS, or Data Center companies with complex sales operations
  • Established experience in Case Management, Quote Support, Project Management or Customer Service
  • Salesforce, Siebel and Excel expertise is a plus
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Strong service orientation with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and systems, handle highly confidential information
  • Clear, professional communication-both written and verbal-with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams across cultures and time zones
  • Ability to translate operational or technical details into actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Confidence in acting as a trusted advisor
