Senior Security Engineer

We are searching for a Senior Security Engineer.
In this position, you will be ensuring robust security practices and compliance with security standards. This role requires expertise in application security, cloud security, and threat detection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations through audits, client's questionnaires, checklists, and threat modeling requirements
• Monitor security threats and vulnerabilities using tools like SIEM, SAST & DAST scanning, OSS
• Respond promptly to security incidents
• Guide developers on secure coding practices and conduct code reviews and vulnerability assessments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Align with client security teams on the format and flows for the SIEM solution

Requirements

• Extensive cybersecurity background, focusing specifically on application security
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, threat models, and risk assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies for threat detection, prevention, and response
• Skills in vulnerability scanning, thread modeling, and penetration testing
• Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and developers
• Familiarity with conducting security audits to identify and mitigate risks
• Competency in collaborating with developers and DevOps teams on security-related matters
• Flexibility to adapt to new security challenges and solutions
• Expertise in managing and responding to security incidents
• Fluent English skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud security practices in Azure including identity and access management, network security, data encryption
