Senior Automation Tester (ReactJS and Back-end Java)

We are currently searching for a highly competent Senior Automation Tester to enhance our development team during the revamp of our platform.
The project involves developing a new user interface based on React and formulating a backend system using a microservices architecture predominantly executed in Java. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in the assurance of our application's reliability and efficiency by conducting thorough automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and upkeep automation scripts for testing ReactJS applications
• Generate tests for Java-based back-end services
• Apply Selenium and Postman for thorough API assessments
• Perform integration tests utilizing the testcontainer method for Java and relational databases
• Partake in code versioning and collaboration through GitHub
• Operate within an Agile framework, specifically utilizing SAFe Agile practices
• Plan and conduct tests within CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps
• Oversee and deploy testing frameworks using Docker and Kubernetes
• Proactively participate in the development and deployment stages on AWS
• Formulate effective testing approaches for RESTful APIs

• A minimum of 3 years of testing expertise within software development settings
• Expertise in automated assessments for ReactJS and Java-based backend services
• Proficiency in leveraging Selenium, Postman, and AWS CodePipeline
• Experience in managing Git through the GitHub platform, including the utilization of GitHub Actions
• Qualifications in working proficiently with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of microservices architecture within a cloud setting
• Knowledge of utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for test environment management
• Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset but not mandatory
