Lead Testing Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Testing Engineer who will be responsible for implementing testing strategies to ensure quality deliverables.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement testing strategies, methodologies, and processes to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers, providing appropriate guidance, support, and training
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities, and align testing activities with project plans
• Establish test objectives, scope, and criteria, and create detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities, use resources effectively, and track progress to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of test results
• Execute functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance tests using both manual and automated techniques
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and suggest areas for improvement. Collaborate with development teams for issue diagnosis, fix verification, and prompt resolution
• Maintain and document all test-related artifacts, and communicate the findings, progress, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years' experience in software testing, with 4+ years in a leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP Quality Center, TestRail) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, HP UFT)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) is a plus
