DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to strengthen the team of React Native developers. Join EPAM to work on a project with a world-known oil & gas drilling company. In this role, together with a highly skilled and engaged team, you will work on an organization management system that has high quality and usability requirements. Take the freedom to work remotely from anywhere across the country or meet with teammates in our office.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Lithuania.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a development team of 2+ people
  • Participate in sprint planning, work breakdown and tasks management activities
  • Create and implement mobile applications using React Native as a cross-platform framework
  • Perform peer code reviews and unit-testing to ensure high-quality software

  • 3+ years of React Native experience (React Navigation, React Native view layer, Redux, React Native Firebase for push notifications & crash reporting)
  • Background in iOS and Android mobile application development
  • Understanding of design patterns and mobile development concepts
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Good work ethic and a strong sense of ownership of final result
  • Ability to thrive under time and client expectations pressure
  • English level - B2 and higher, both spoken and written
