DESCRIPTION
Do you have experience in identifying improvement opportunities and attention points in large data sets and existing processes? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with EPAM strategic clients as part of our Data Practice team? We are looking for a Data Quality Engineer to provide continuous automated and manual testing of large-scale traditional and cloud-based Enterprise DWH.
What You'll Do
- Work with product, engineering and customer teams to implement quality testing strategy, define and setup data quality metrics
- Design and implement quality verification of data products strategy
- Define priorities, risks and attributes in the data quality testing strategy
- Prepare Data Quality environments and applications
- Create, monitor, and maintain QA reports, KPIs & quality trends

- Engineering experience and practice in Data Management, Data Quality verification, Data Governance and Data Integration
- Solid knowledge of data pipelines, Data Lakes, ETL testing
- Expertise in CI/CD principles and best practices in the data processing
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (or other scripting languages)
- Competency in AWS, Azure or GCP
- Flexibility to build up a test automation framework, maintain QA environments and validate data analysis & requirements
- A track record in data project test strategy creation, test planning, test case design and test result reporting
- Team management experience
- Analytical approach to tackling problems
- Expertise in direct customer communications
- Upper-intermediate or higher (B2+) level of English proficiency
- Experience with data processing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, ElasticSearch or Python libraries (Pandas / NumPy)
- Understanding of various ETL Tools such as Databricks
- Linux and Bash scripting basics
