Responsibilities
- Create pipelines to deploy to edge devices
- Provide an architecture for quick POC and POV of algorithms
- Manage devices in Azure through various Azure services
- Proven experience as an IoT Architect with a focus on Azure solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Azure IoT services, including IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Azure IoT Edge, and related components
- Programming - JSON, Python (experience writing custom Python code on custom hardware is a must)
- Database SQL, MS Azure Blob Storage, MS Synapse (nice to have), OSI PI Historian
- Cloud IoT - Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, and related cloud services. Terraform is a plus
- IoT Technologies - Docker, MQTT, AMQP
- Web development - Experience in UI/UX practices, Web API Services, Security Principles
- Automation - Automation Protocols (Modbus, EthernetIP), OPC, PLC's, instrumentation
- Strong understanding of communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, Modbus, MQTT, DNP3, etc
- Ability to quickly evaluate and determine the validity and applicability of new IoT technologies
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Strong customer engagement skills
- Ability to translate user needs with the vision of how to develop and scale a solution
- Highly innovative and outside-the-box thinker
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and can work independently
