The Product Group
IOT Security Product Group is focussed on developing products and solutions for ICS/ OT and other IOT verticals like IIOT/ IOMT. The charter for the team is to use CrowdStrike's platform capabilities and threat intelligence, and build modules and features, integrate with partner products and platforms to establish ourselves as the leading security vendor in this space.
About the Role
This role will have solid understanding of networking architecture and protocols specifically in IOT/ICS domain. He/ she will understand the Purdue model, systems and software like SCADA servers, HMI, EW, DCS, PLC, RTU and how they communicate in ICS/IOT environment. This person will be required to design and develop software for ICS/IOT security modules majorly focusing on communication protocols.
What you'll do
- Required Research and analysis around Network Protocols specially pertaining to OT and IoT Devices and systems
- Tooling, collection and analysis of network traffic and packets
- Design, development, enhancement and testing for IOT/ICS security products
- Handling and troubleshooting relevant Customer issues
- Engaging with customers and helping in POVs, beta and analysing customer environements and use cases to make CS product better
- Other projects as assigned
- Hands on experience level 8-12 years in product development lifecycle
- Expert level understanding of network architecture and protocols - TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc
- Strong understanding of Industrial protocols: Modbus, CIP/ENIP, SS7 etc
- Experience using TCPDUMP, Wireshark or similar packet inspection tools, Suricata, DPI or related technologies
- Demonstrated strong design and programming skills with Python, Java, or C++ or other language
- Some experience of working in medium to large OT environment or building products/ solutions for OT environment
- Some understanding of IOT/ ICS and OT security, systems / software like HMI, SCADA servers, EWs and other Purdue Model L2/L3 systems, PLCs, RTUs etc
- Knowledge of OT cybersecurity and cloud environments is a plus
- Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team, customers and partners.
- Experience with automation software like Emerson, Rockwell, Siemens, Honeywell, etc
