Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Analysis team. As one of key members in the team, you will collaborate with group of Data experts and focus on designing efficient BI solutions, capture and translate business requirements into data models, analyze source data, and propose improvements. Responsibilities

• Capture and translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, focus on designing efficient data models for BI solutions with the performance and user-friendly representation as main principles
• Creation of source-target mappings
• Analysis of source data and defining data transformations for getting required business value from data
• Close collaboration and communication with other data streams regarding data and data models
• Review current solution design and propose improvements and changes
• Help to make day to day design decisions
• Use data mapping, data mining, and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases
• Perform profiling and troubleshooting of existing solutions
• Follow and understand defined development process
• Participate in workshops and presentations of proposed solutions with team to clients
• Communicate with clients on a regular basis to clarify business requirements
• Assist team members by providing technical solutions

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related majors
• Work experience in an international enterprise size/servicing company
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience (reporting (Power BI for at least 1 year), data analysis, data manipulation techniques)
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with clients
• Self-motivated personality and excellent problem-solving skills, can-do attitude
• Excellent time management skills, ability to work effectively within strict deadlines
• Experience and willingness to manage and mentor junior colleagues
• Willingness and ability to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements
• Active learner who is passionate about technology and keeps up to date with changes in technology
• Intermediate (CEFR B1) or higher level of spoken and written English
• Desirable:
  • Experience with big data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
  • Skillfully grasp and understand the concept of basic data warehouse construction model such as star model and snowflake model, and understand the correlation and differences between data levels in ETL process
