Automation Tester (ReactJS and Back-end Java)

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our development team as we modernize our platform.
This includes creating a new React-based user interface and establishing a microservice-based backend architecture primarily with Java. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring the stability and performance of our applications through rigorous automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for ReactJS applications
• Create back-end service tests for Java-based microservices
• Utilize Selenium and Postman for comprehensive API testing
• Implement integration testing using the testcontainer approach for Java and relational databases
• Contribute to code versioning and collaborative workflows utilizing GitHub
• Work in an Agile environment, particularly SAFe Agile methodologies
• Design and execute tests within CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Deploy and manage testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Engage actively in the development and deployment process on AWS
• Build effective test strategies for RESTful APIs

• Minimum 2 years testing experience in software development environments
• Background in automated testing for ReactJS and Java-based back-end services
• Proficiency with Selenium, Postman, and AWS CodePipeline
• Experience with Git through the GitHub platform, including GitHub Actions
• Competency in working with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps preferred
• Understanding of microservices architecture in the cloud environment
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes for test environment management
• Familiarity with RESTful API testing
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus, but not required

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
