We are seeking a dedicated, service-oriented individual to join the Surgi-Care Branch of Enovis as a Field Service Representative in the Western Connecticut area covering Fairfield County and Danbury. This unique opening will allow you to service patients directly in order to assist them in their recovery.

WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?

  • Responsible for application, education, and appropriate use/care of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, and all other Enovis products prescribed by HCPs.
  • Provides routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and other clinical staff.
  • Responsible for assigned territory management including brace fitting in patient homes and coverage of staffed office accounts as assigned.
  • Provides service to stock-and-bill customers including adjusting par levels, removing discontinued and overstocked product, monitoring product usage, and addressing related concerns.
  • Ensures that the equipment delivered to the patient functioning properly and is consistent with the prescribing physician's order and other identified patient needs, risks, and limitations of which Surgi-Care and Enovis are aware.
  • Completes all required documentation related to patient fitting and delivery and processes orders in a timely manner.
  • Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
  • Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinic/hospital, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?

  • A passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, along with a strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related.
  • Working knowledge of home medical equipment (HME), Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and orthotic products strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience with application of soft goods/functional bracing, inventory management programs and/or EMRs a plus.

Other Requirements

  • In-home equipment delivery and set up are requirements of this position and candidates should be aware of, as well as comfortable with, this requirement.
  • Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance.

WILL YOU BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL?

  • May require travel up to 95% of the time, but overnight travel is not required.
  • Includes considerable time spent traveling in car to customer accounts, using own transportation, as dictated by territory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Provides patient care in patient homes, physician's offices, hospitals, and/or clinics, etc.
  • This job involves potential exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens.
  • Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
