Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

The Site Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions at the Houston site for Enovis' Foot & Ankle group. This position includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control, and ensuring compliance with corporate and legal financial standards for all site related activities. The Site Controller acts as a business partner to site management, providing financial insights and strategic recommendations to support operational efficiency and profitability. They will work across the organization to drive effective processes and key business insight, and be a leader on site partnering with all groups. The Houston site is the primary manufacturing site and distribution center the US F&A team.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Perform month end close activities related to comparing actual costs vs standards
  • Prepare standard month end financial reporting and analytics related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and spend information for decision making support.
  • Review set up new raw material, packaging, WIP, and FG items; Review Production BOMs and routers; maintain periodic cost rolls/updates
  • Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures
  • Prepares estimates of new and proposed product or service costs.
  • Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts roll outs and inventory plans.
  • Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components in ERP system.
  • Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
  • Ensure validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit, and coordination with inventory control, production and work order processing.
  • Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
  • Represent Finance/Accounting on teams designed to improve operations, reduce costs, etc.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience with operational P&L, standard costs and variance reporting
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
