Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

The Senior HRBP will support Global Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Affairs and the Canadian business. role will be focused on driving our talent strategy and functional processes across the business unit.

As a strategic part of the HR team, in this role, you will help us create better together through:

  • Collaboration - as a thought partner with our business leaders to drive talent processes across the organization.
  • Delivering top performance - in the right way. We are looking for an HR leader who leverages our cross functional HR team to improve processes and drive increased performance and productivity.
  • Being the champion of our culture - by understanding our talent across the business and where we have potential for improvement. You will work with leaders and our talent team to get the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
  • Strategic partnership - this means asking questions, offering new solutions, and challenging the status quo.

Key Responsibilities:

Each day you come to work will be full of new challenges. In your role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coaching and mentoring global leaders.
  • Partnering with HR counterparts around the globe.
  • Being a hands-on leader who is willing and able to meet with both senior leaders and associates. The HR role is both tactical and strategic. To be successful, you will need to work on both sides of this spectrum.
  • Understanding the needs of all our employees, regardless of level.
  • Executing the talent strategy through partnership with leaders and employees. You will gain experience working in a global business and play a key role in the structure and development of our teams.
  • Working as a true HR Expert and collaborating and building camaraderie with the functional (COE) HR team to deliver workforce planning, talent management, performance management and all other HR services across the business.
  • Building strong relationships that allow you to work through difficult situations to achieve optimal outcomes and be a positive influence to execute HR strategy.
  • Providing business partnership to our leaders to drive key business results for the enterprise. Provide guidance on HR matters and be the subject matter expert.
  • Proactively coaching managers, directors and business leaders on HR and business- related issues.
  • Leadership through implementing and delivering solutions and interventions that address issues of retention, change management, employee engagement, and leadership development, partnering with subject-matter experts as appropriate.
  • Providing HR Insights with data. You will need to interpret data, ask critical questions, and present data/recommendations to senior leaders.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years additional equivalent work experience required
  • Previous global HR or role-related experience required
  • 5+ years business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or role-related experience
  • Experience in multiple HR disciplines or client groups a plus
  • Experience collaborating across a matrix.
  • Experience coaching global leaders to build high performing teams and stewarding HR processes throughout the talent lifecycle
  • Proven ability to know when to ask for assistance in regulations outside the USA
