• Work with the customers to receive project details and translate them to design / code /Deployment guide. Schedule and conduct meetings with customer representatives to understand their requirements and capture those requirements accurately for use in downstream phases of the software development life cycle.
• Propose architectures that are cost-effective and in line with Ellucian's desired product direction.
• Be able to identify appropriate technologies for the architecting and designing the solution.
• Create and execute accurate test plans to ensure thorough integration testing done before delivery.
• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for integrations and sales proposals.
• Demonstrate aptitude for logical application of problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to deconstruct complex technical issues to identify root cause issues.
• Stay current with Ellucian applications and technologies.
• Acting as a thought leader for our APAC implementations, able to lead and influence client teams at all levels from integration perspective.
• Providing advice and guidance on industry best practices for integration, working with technical leadership and staff in universities to ensure the proven practices are followed for building integrations or APIS.
• Supporting customers and providing advisory on the latest and greatest integration technologies.
• Provide project guidance and coordination with global integration engineers to complete projects on time and within budget constraints.
• Prepare concise technical documents that accurately describe project requirements and specifications for delivery.
• Work with a dynamic team of developers and other peers to Architect, build and test the processes according to the prepared specifications.

• Communicates effectively and credibly with technical as well as functional staff, including those responsible for the execution of day-to-day operations through to those at the managerial and executive levels.
• Ability to manage client expectations, ensure completion of engagements within an agreed-upon time-frame, and resolve client issues relating to the implementation of Ellucian's solutions.
• Consistently exceed expectations and responds promptly and professionally to client requests, seeking guidance as appropriate.
• Leverages knowledge and prior experience to develop, present, and defend rational conclusions, recommendations and implementation strategies.
• Anticipates and resolves software problems and solves difficult challenges with only occasional need for assistance from others.
• Tracks formal questions and answers regarding requirements, business process, and desired outcomes.
• Communicates effectively internally through written reports, regular meetings and teleconferences, keeping management and coworkers apprised of software and customer issues that impact the successful and smooth deployment of Ellucian solutions.
• Travels routinely to customer sites to deliver services; travels periodically for internal training.

• 10+ years of experience working with the following application development frameworks e.g.: AngularJS, React.js, Lambda, CloudWatch, Document DB, ECS, and Terraform
• 6+ years of experience in web service development and integration patterns using REST or SOAP, JMS messaging, Request/Reply, and Pub/Submodels.
• 4+ Complex integration architecture and design experience
• Ability to keep up with new product functionalities as they become available as well as the ability to train others on new functionality.
• Demonstrated presentation skills and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to perform effectively in a work environment that requires hard work, has periods of tight deadlines, and where change is embraced as a method of continuous improvement.
• Experience working independently with little direction and still achieve goals as well as working remotely in a team environment via phone and other electronic communication tools.
• Proven Ability to use appropriate skills in the areas of: project coordination, multi-tasking, prioritization of demands, conflict management, decision making tools & techniques, group discussion, training, facilitation, decision-making, communication, and time management.
• Demonstrated experience in consulting and/or training and development; system implementation, and requirements gathering is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with credibility to influence senior client stakeholders at client site and industry events.
• Proven Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• The candidate is expected to be from Melbourne and ready to travel to other interstate / international locations if necessary to meet the customers.

• Collaborate with consulting teams and peers to ensure customer and Ellucian project expectations are exceeded.
• Identify and remediate issues that impede enabling customer success.
• Drive innovative and transformative strategies which will ensure successful SaaS implementations.
• Continuously improve the customer experience by collaborating with the regional and global Ellucian teams.
• Proactively prepare for and deliver high quality implementation consulting services.
• Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, achievement of projects, and utilization targets.
• Consult with customers to drive performance improvement, own problems, execute with precision, and professionalism.
