Assistant Demand Planning Manager

Hong Kong

What You Will Achieve

  • Develop demand plan for relevant brand and reconciles with brand plan and finance plan to ensure a single demand signal
  • Monitor demand trends and sales driver assumptions for forecast modeling and analysis
  • Partner with brands to understand market trends and to ensure sales drivers accuracy
  • Accountable for complete view of demand across basic and new SKUs within affiliate and closure of any gap with related finance/brand plans
  • Develop reports and scenarios to facilitate IBP meetings
  • Resolve demand gaps/imbalances and shape demand in case of constrained supply
  • Responsible for management and oversight demand planning WFA (stat and enriched), forecasting bias, and demand attainment
  • Provide demand sensing insights to potential forecast / sales driver changes for the Operational Horizon
  • Lead to resolve demand supply gap based on constrained supply commits
  • Consult with brand finance to align demand plan to finance plan
  • Work to model and ensure sales driver accuracy and model scenarios in support of IBP meetings
  • Work to model specific external datasets (social media) and incorporate into the forecasting model
  • Provide inputs to facilitate and support Regional IBP meetings as needed

Qualifications

What You Will Need

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in planning, preferably in a Demand and/or Supply Planning role
  • Knowledge of, and hands-on experience with forecasting, demand planning, innovation planning and S&OP
  • Strong business acumen and regional / affiliate market knowledge, preferably from experience in Beauty or Fashion industries
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with hands-on experience with forecasting and planning tools
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
