Make Your Mark:

As the Vice President of Demand Generation and Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company by developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies aligned with our business goals and market dynamics. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns, and ensure the effective use of marketing technology to optimize performance and ROI. Ability to measure performance of marketing activities to drive demand, accelerate pipeline and drive revenue are critical for this position.

You'll Get To:

  • Strategy Development: Work with brand team and regional marketing organizations to develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with business goals and market dynamics. Continuously evaluate and refine strategies to optimize performance, pipeline, and ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing pipeline generation team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide guidance and support to enable team members to achieve their full potential. Experience in recruiting and hiring is essential at this level.
  • Campaign Execution and Measurement: Work with the brand team to execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns across ABM, digital, offline, and event channels. Leverage a data-driven approach to effectively target key accounts, personas, and segments. Drive measurement of all campaigns and marketing tactics.
  • Lead Generation and Nurturing: Drive the creation and execution of lead generation programs to attract, engage, and convert prospects into qualified leads and opportunities. Develop lead nurturing strategies to accelerate prospects through the sales funnel. Also create and measure programs designed to improve sales within customer base and reduce churn.
  • Marketing Technology and Operations: Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing technology stack to support demand generation efforts. Partner with the marketing operations team to ensure accurate tracking, measurement, and reporting of campaign performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, solutions, and other stakeholders to align demand generation efforts with overall go-to-market strategy. Build strong relationships and foster alignment to drive collective success.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of pipeline generation initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders, identifying insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage the demand generation budget, allocating resources to high-impact initiatives and optimizing spending to achieve desired outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

Years of Experience in Related Field: 10+ years

Education: Marketing undergraduate or MBA

Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record of success in demand generation leadership roles within B2B technology or SaaS companies.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation strategies, tactics, and best practices with experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Related degree.
  • Experience training and managing people.
  • Experience in content writing and trade show management.
  • Experience using Tableau, Marketo, On24, Cvent, 6Sense, Salesforce, Wrike, Outreach, Sales Navigator, LinkedIn, Social Advocacy, and Direct Mail platforms i.e. Sendosa or Reachdesk (or similar solutions).

Salary Range:

USD $212,000.00 - USD $282,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
